• Long Build-Up: 79 stocks saw an increase in OI and price, suggesting a build-up of long positions. Major ones: NYKAA, LICI, TRENT, ANGELONE, KFINTECH, etc.
• Short Build-Up: 56 stocks saw an increase in OI and a drop in price. Major ones: COCHINSHIP, INFY, IRFC, LTF, HINDALCO, etc.

• Today will be the test of the market’s improving internal strength. While falling crude prices and a strong Wall Street rebound provide support, weakness in IT following Accenture’s outlook and the likely gap-down opening in IT stocks could keep Nifty volatile. Technically, the 23,800–24,000 zone remains a crucial support area, and holding above it will be important to keep the current uptrend intact.
• The Dollar Index (DXY) is trading at its highest level since May 2025. After spending nearly a year in the 96–100.5 range, it is now on the verge of an upside breakout. A decisive close above 101 would confirm the breakout and could have significant implications for global markets in the coming weeks.
