After trading in a narrow range for nearly two weeks, Nifty failed to move past the 24,300 resistance and slipped back towards the 24,000 mark. The 23,800 level continues to be the key support at the lower end of the current consolidation range, while a break below it could open the door for a move towards 23,500–23,600. Despite the recent weakness, India VIX remains below 15, suggesting there is no sign of panic and market volatility continues to stay relatively contained.
