• Short Build-Up: 49 stocks saw an increase in OI and a drop in price. Major ones: MCX, BSE, MARICO, RELIANCE, PGEL, etc.

Selling was seen in Capital Goods (-₹3,618 Cr), Telecom (-₹3,271 Cr), and Financials (-₹2,699 Cr).
• Bank Nifty: The index has been consolidating in the 56,500–58,500 range since early June, with muted F&O positioning indicating a lack of aggressive participation. A decisive close above 58,500 could revive momentum and open the way towards the 60,000 mark. On the downside, 57,300 remains the first immediate support.
